Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Austria: Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Austria experienced varying trends in downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, reveals interesting insights into user engagement and app popularity within this category.

Google Maps showed a consistent download pattern, peaking at approximately 7.4K in mid-July before gradually declining to around 5K by the end of September. Active users hovered around the 4M mark, indicating steady usage throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced fluctuations in downloads, reaching a high of 4.5K in late July, followed by a decrease to just under 3K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users varied, peaking at over 116K in mid-July and settling around 81K towards the end of September.

Google Earth maintained a relatively stable download rate, with numbers ranging from 3.1K to 3.8K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a decline from approximately 94K in early July to about 67K by the end of September.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS saw weekly revenue peak at $8.9K in early September, with downloads peaking at 3.8K in mid-July. Active users started at nearly 27K, peaking at 37K in early August, then declining to about 19K by the end of the quarter.
